Warhammer 40,000: The War for Ultramar Unfolds

A major new narrative arc is coming to Warhammer 40,000, placing the fate of Ultramar at the centre of a galaxy-shaking conflict. With the return of Captain Demetrian Titus, the emergence of terrifying Necron threats, and the launch of an expansive campaign supplement, players are invited to take part in the opening stages of a war that will shape the future of the Imperium.

Captain Titus and the Wardens of Ultramar

Demetrian Titus once again assumes command as Captain of the Ultramarines’ 2nd Company at a time when Ultramar faces threats both ancient and unprecedented. Tasked by Roboute Guilliman with reclaiming and defending the realm, Titus leads from the front, surrounded by trusted warriors and influential allies.

This character set represents Captain Titus and a close circle of companions drawn from both the Adeptus Astartes and the wider Ultramarian command structure. It includes Veteran Sergeant Metaurus and Ancient Gadriel, alongside key Imperial figures such as Lucia Vestha, Astropath Dainal Kornelius, fleet commander Gaius Silva, and Aemelia Minervas of the Ultramar Defence Auxilia. The set allows for limited customisation, with alternative head options provided for both Kornelius and Metaurus.

Nekrosor Ammentar

Nekrosor Ammentar is an entity so extreme in form and purpose that even other Necrons regard it with unease. Acting as a focal point for the Destroyer curse, it embodies a relentless drive to annihilate organic life. Over centuries, its body has been repeatedly modified, becoming an ever more efficient engine of destruction.

Equipped with bladed appendages, a serpentine lower body, and devastating arcane technologies, Nekrosor Ammentar is both a physical and psychological terror. Despite its horrific appearance, it retains sharp intellect and strategic awareness, commanding followers drawn by fear, fanaticism, or necessity. Its invasion of Ultramar marks a critical escalation in the wider conflict. Rules for this miniature will be released via Warhammer Community.

C’tan Shard of the Nightbringer

The Nightbringer was once a godlike being capable of extinguishing entire civilisations. Though shattered and enslaved by the Necrons, fragments of this entity are still unleashed when absolute destruction is required. The C’tan Shard of the Nightbringer manifests as a grim, spectral figure wielding a scythe formed from living metal.

On the battlefield, it moves with unnatural grace, cutting through enemies with ease and draining the life from those who meet its gaze. Updated rules for this iconic miniature will be made available through Warhammer Community.

500 Worlds: Titus – The Battle for Unity Begins

At the heart of this release cycle is 500 Worlds: Titus – The Battle for Unity Begins, a narrative expansion for Warhammer 40,000 that chronicles the opening phase of the Ultramarian Reclamation. Commanded by Roboute Guilliman and led by Captain Titus, Imperial forces attempt to secure the Five Hundred Worlds as long-dormant enemies rise against them.

The expansion is presented in a slipcase and contains three softback books and an additional booklet, combining lore, campaign systems, and new rules content.

Contents Overview

  • 500 Worlds: Titus – An 80-page narrative volume detailing the origins of the campaign, key characters, the Necron invasion under Nekrosor Ammentar, and the war for Novamagnor.

Designed for close-quarters warfare, this terrain set enables players to build dense, atmospheric environments representing voidships and Necron tomb complexes. It includes two game boards and an extensive collection of Tomb World terrain pieces, with additional gameplay rules featured in the Dread Incursions supplement. Availability is limited.

500 Worlds Battalion: Necrons

This battalion set focuses on the Destroyer Cult, a faction of Necrons consumed by the drive to eradicate all organic life. It is also designed to synergise with the newly introduced Cursed Legion Detachment. This product is available while stocks last.
