About Saga Concepts

Growing up, we wanted to be the very best, the best there ever was...

...Until we saw the price tags at stores and realized our dreams may be out of our price range.

Being fourteen year old kids spending $200 on a model kit was a tough ask to our parents. There was a great deal of effort put into being a fan of anime and model kits which our parents had trouble understanding.

It was only in adulthood when learning about business at the University of Miami, did we find out how much easier it could be for young fans to get involved. The stores we visited as kids took advantage of our fandom and charged us double or triple the value of the price the items should be. This outrage led us to realize we had to open our own store.

It was at this point that Teg grabbed the biggest anime / Warhammer / Magic the Gathering / Dungeons & Dragons / Gundam colleague he could find by offering them the ability to build and play Warhammer every day for the rest of their life as a potential job. Luckily, Stephen posted a silly Warhammer 40K meme.

That was the day Saga Concepts was formed.

Saga Concepts was officially founded in 2020 during the Covid Pandemic in Englewood, NJ by two college friends.

Combining our Bachelors from the University of Miami and our Masters from Rutgers, we set out on our journey to create a home for gamers, nerds, and hobbyists. There was so much pain and isolation that we knew we could alleviate by bringing our fandom and comfort of playing games with our friends in such uncertain times.

We launched our ecommerce website in 2020 with the goal to open our brick and mortar store as soon as possible. In April of 2021, we realized that goal and have been open 6 days a week since then for all our customers’ needs for Warhammer, Magic, Pokemon, Cardfight Vanguard, Anime models/ figures, Gunpla, and more!
