Dark Angels Army Set Deathwing Assault

The Dark Angels are the most secretive of all the Space Marine Chapters, pursuing a clandestine agenda of persecution and redemption that marks them apart from the rest of the Adeptus Astartes. The greatest exemplars amongst the mysterious and unyielding Dark Angels are the Deathwing. Each a skilled veteran, they are led by heroes of a thousand battles, clad in Terminator armour and hefting powerful weapons taken from the Chapter’s most sacred armouries. Belial, Grand Master of the Deathwing, commands 15 Terminators. Ten of these are existing mulit-part Terminators, accessorised in classic Deathwing style with two new Dark Angels upgrade frames, while the other five are the indomitable Deathwing Knights, unstoppable juggernauts armed with mighty heirloom weapons. The box also contains Codex Supplement: Dark Angels, a 96-page book containing the rules and background for the Dark Angels, and featuring a unique cover. You also get 20 datasheet cards covering every unit in the Codex Supplement and two transfer sheets with over 200 transfers each.

We start with the most obdurate of the Dark Angels, the Deathwing Knights. These unyielding warriors come five to a unit and can be built with a mace of absolution or a power sword, each a powerful weapon ideally suited for striking down heretics, traitors, and other targets of the Dark Angels’ ire. You get a choice of 12 heads – two bare, five hooded, and five helmed. Their formidable unit leader is a Knight Master, who wields a mace great weapon or a relic weapon. His ornate armour is set off by a choice of two tilting plates, and he comes with a choice of helmed, bare, or hooded head. The Deathwing Assault box is the first place you’ll be able to find the new Dark Angels Upgrade Frame. You get two in the box, and each comes with 61 cosmetic accessories you can use to coat your Space Marines in lovely Dark Angels gubbins. There are shoulder pads and heads for a variety of armour types, tilting plates, an underslung Terminator plasma cannon, icons for your vehicles, tassets*, Ravenwing upgrades, tiny relics, and a Watcher in the Dark, a mysterious little guy who can join your army for unknown purposes. Seriously, who are these robed creatures? With all of these options, and iconic characters like Azrael, Asmodai, Belial, and the Lion himself, your Dark Angels army will be one of the flashiest forces to teleport onto the tabletop when the full range is released later in the year. You can get your first taste with the Deathwing Assault box.

Tyranids: Psychophage

This multipart plastic kit builds a Psychophage, a Tyranid monstrosity driven by frenzied psychic hunger. This vile creature's gaping, many-jawed maw is lined with razor teeth and barbed tentacles, allowing it to snatch, shred, and swallow its prey. Raised atop six scuttling, talon-tipped limbs, its bulbous body bulges with digestive sacs and orifices, and is topped with spore-spewing dorsal chimneys.

It may seem like the Psychophage is a fussy eater, but with the weapons at its disposable, it’s quite happy to eat anything that’s foolish enough to get close, not just psykers. Just be sure to get some of the smaller critters to grab toothbrushes and help with all of those teeth afterwards.

Tyranids: Psychophage - 51-75 A multi-part plastic kit which builds 1 x Tyranid Psychophage miniature. Includes 1 x Citadel Base.

Crusade: Pariah Nexus

Explore the Nephilim Anomaly while the Necrons attempt to hide it away from the prying eyes of the Imperium in Crusade: Pariah Nexus. This is the second Crusade narrative expansion for the current edition of Warhammer 40,000. Its 120 pages are filled with scene-setting background lore and thematic rules for use in your Crusade games, including Crusade Relics, Battle Traits, Crusade Blessings, and Agendas, plus rules for salvaging Blackstone Fragments and creating unique Blackstone Upgrades.

This book brings us up to date on the vast war raging across the Nephilim Sector and brings rules for waging a campaign here, including Enhancements for your Crusade forces and new battleplans. This book doesn’t continue from Crusade: Tyrannic War; it’s a fresh canvas that contains a new plot, missions, crusade blessings, agendas, relics and legendary relics, as well as battle traits.
