Saga Help Tip
Dry paints have a thick, creamy texture made for drybrushing, a fast and forgiving way to catch raised detail and textures.
How to use it
- Load a drybrush, then wipe most of the paint off onto a paper towel.
- Lightly flick the brush across the model so paint only catches the raised areas.
- Build up gradually; it is easier to add more than to take it away.
FAQ
What is drybrushing?
Dragging an almost-dry brush over a model so the paint only lands on raised edges and textures, like fur, stone or chainmail.
Which brush should I use?
A dedicated drybrush with stiff bristles. Drybrushing wears brushes quickly, so keep your fine brushes for detail work.
