Radiance, the fifth set for the League of Legends card game Riftbound, releases October 23, 2026 — but the action starts a week earlier with Pre-Rift events running October 16–22 at local game stores.

Pre-Rift kits include five Radiance booster packs plus a seeded Pre-Rift pack matched to one of the nine new Legends in the set. You’ll also receive an exclusive Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor promo while supplies last.

Radiance introduces three brand-new mechanics — Deploy (Gear cards that control Battlefields), Reveal (unlock effects by showing cards from your hand or board), and Disarm (reduce enemy Might as you attack) — plus Equipment Units that can flip into combat, Bomb tokens that scale with every one you play, and a chase Ultimate Rare appearing in roughly 0.025% of packs.

What's Inside

Each Pre-Rift Event Kit contains:

Five Radiance booster packs — crack them fresh a week before release.

One seeded Pre-Rift pack — matched to one of the nine new Legends (Seraphine, Evelynn, Orianna, and six more).

Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor promo — exclusive Pre-Rift promo, while supplies last.

Key Dates

Three Ways to Win

Deploy — Gear cards that go directly to a Battlefield and stay there as long as you control it. Lose the Battlefield and the Gear is destroyed.

Reveal (Show Off) — Show a qualifying card from your hand or board to unlock a stronger effect on the card you’re playing.

Disarm — Reduce the Might of an enemy Unit as you attack. Each instance of Disarm stacks, so layering them hits harder.
