How it plays
This expansion combines Tokaido's original two expansions and the expansion travelers (including most promos) in one box.
Crossroads adds alternative choices along the path: cherry trees in full bloom, luxurious bathhouses, good luck charms, calligraphy, legendary objects and clandestine gambling rooms.
Matsuri (festivals) are triggered when travelers reach the intermediate inns and bring unique events to the path. New travelers join the trip too. It works with both the Stonemaier and earlier versions of Tokaido, and everything fits in the core Tokaido box.
