Tokaido (STM275)
In Tokaido, you're a traveler in historic Japan, following the famous Tokaido road between Kyoto and Edo. This isn't a race to the finish. It's about having the richest journey: tasting local food, buying souvenirs, soaking in hot springs, painting panoramas and meeting people along the way.
Whoever is furthest behind on the road takes the next turn, so every move is a choice: hurry ahead to grab the best stops, or take your time and fit in more experiences. Everyone has to stop at the inns.
The Stonemaier Games version adds an Automa solo mode (taking the player count to 1–5), a reworked rulebook and reference cards, and it works with existing Tokaido expansions.
