Clue: The Grinch (USA-CL154-779)
Clue: The Grinch is a mystery board game from The Op for 2–6 players, ages 8+, that plays in about 60 minutes.
How it plays
Based on Dr. Seuss's story, you play as Cindy-Lou, Papa Who and other Whos to work out WHO caught the Grinch in the act, WHAT he stuffed up the chimney, and WHERE in Who-ville it was taken from.
It plays like the Clue you know. Three answers are sealed in the case file at the start. On your turn you move around the board, step into a location and make a suggestion; the other players secretly show you a card that proves it wrong if they can.
Keep track of what you've seen on your detective sheet. When you think you've cracked all three answers, make an accusation and check the case file. Get it right and you win.
Saga Table Talk
Great for: Fans of the show or film who like a slow-burn mystery, and families with kids around 8 and up who are ready for a little deduction.
What a game night feels like: Quiet note-taking, sly suggestions, and a lot of "hmm, why did she show me that one?" The table gets tense as players get close to an accusation.

Teaching tip: Let new players keep their detective sheet open on the table for the first game and talk through what each shown card rules out.
