Sid Meier's Civilization: A New Dawn (CIV01)
Civilization: A New Dawn is a board game from Fantasy Flight Games for 2–4 players, playing in 90–120 minutes, recommended for ages 14+.
How it plays
In Sid Meier's Civilization: A New Dawn, two to four players lead some of history's most memorable empires. Over the game you expand your territory, discover new technologies and build humanity's great wonders, all on a map of beautifully illustrated tiles.
At setup, players build the world together, placing barbarians, natural resources and city-states. Your goals change every game: three victory cards are drawn at the start, each listing agendas, and the first player to complete one agenda on each card wins.
Saga Table Talk
Great for: Strategy fans who love the video games or anyone who enjoys building an empire over an evening.
What a game night feels like: A race that builds slowly and then tightens fast. Early turns are about spreading out; by the end everyone is watching the victory cards and counting who's closest.

Teaching tip: Read the three victory cards out loud at the start and keep them in the middle of the table. They decide the whole game.
