Read this first—none of these are on sale yet Everything on this watchlist is a game we are considering bringing in. None of them are in stock, none are listed on our site, and we're not taking preorders. This page exists so you can tell us which ones you actually want—that genuinely shapes what we order. |
Every summer the convention floor resets the conversation. Publishers show what's coming, demo tables run all weekend, and by the time the hall empties, most game stores have quietly rewritten their buying list for the next twelve months.
We've been building ours. Below are eight titles on our watchlist—some we're close to committing to, some we want to hear from you about first. For each one we've also flagged something already on our shelf that plays in the same space, because a watchlist you can't act on for six months isn't much use to anyone.
Tell us which of these you'd buy. We're a small shop; every box we order is a real decision about shelf space. A dozen people saying 'get that one' is the difference between us stocking it deep and not stocking it at all.

How our ordering actually works

The Long Game What we're really building |
A convention watchlist is a small version of the bigger question we're always asking: what belongs on the shelf of a store that wants to be a third space rather than a warehouse?
Our answer this year has been to build a proper ladder—building and STEM kits for the youngest hands, family games for the whole table, licensed classics as the friendly door in, and heavy strategy for the people who read rulebooks twice. Raising the next generation of nerds is the thread through all of it, and it's the lens we take onto a convention floor too. We're not looking for the hottest box. We're looking for the one that keeps somebody at the table.

Questions About this watchlist |
|
Can I preorder any of these? No. None of these are listed, priced, or ordered yet. When something moves from this watchlist to a real order, it'll go up on the site properly with a price and a preorder date. |
|
How do I tell you which ones I want? Join the board games list and reply to any email, or just tell us at the counter. Both reach the same person. |
|
Will you carry all eight? Almost certainly not. We're a single store with a finite shelf. Expect two or three of these to actually land, chosen partly on what we hear back. |
|
What if I want something not on this list? Ask. Special orders are a real thing we do, and if it's distributor-available, we can usually get it. |
|
Why list games you don't sell? Because a game store should be useful even when it isn't selling you something. And because your answers genuinely change our order. |

The Third Space Come argue about the list 35 S Van Brunt St, Store D, Englewood, NJ. If you played any of these on a convention floor and have opinions, we want them—that's exactly the kind of thing the counter is for. |
None of these are for sale yet. All of them are up for discussion. See you at the table.
Watchlist titles are not currently stocked, listed or available for preorder at Saga Concepts. In-stock prices reflect our live catalogue at time of writing and can change.
