Insta-Set is a catalyst that speeds up curing of CA (super glue), so CA cures quickly even in thick layers. In a spray bottle it is normally used to cure the CA that squeezes out of joints when parts are pressed together. Running an extra bead of thick CA along a seam and curing it with Insta-Set makes the joint noticeably stronger. For difficult-to-bond materials, apply Insta-Set to one surface and CA to the other; when the parts meet, they bond instantly.
Insta-Set has a strawberry scent and activates CA in 6 to 8 seconds without weakening the bond, which can happen with many other accelerators. It is compatible with all surfaces, even clear plastic and white foam.
