The Ogor Mawtribes Army Set that kicked this wave off—our first allocation is spoken for, and the rest of the range shown below is what comes next.
Last month's Ogor Mawtribes Army Set was just the appetizer. This week's Sunday Preview lays out the entire main course: the full Ogor Mawtribes range is headed to pre-order—three named characters, a fresh warlord and butcher, reworked classics like Ironguts and Gluttons, and a whole menagerie of Maulbeasts, Sabrefangs, and hired guns. Black Library is eating well too, with a Premium Edition of a Horus Heresy classic. Here's everything GW showed off and how to be first in line when our pre-orders open.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar The Warlords Leading the Charge |
![]() |
Morga the Mighty The fearless ogor warlord herself, charging in atop her personal mount Grutta. The multi-part plastic kit is loaded with options — including a choice of armored or unarmored mount — and can alternatively be built as a generic Tyrant on Glutthorn if you'd rather field your own legend. |

|

|
Why this matters If you grabbed the Army Set (or missed it — our first allocation went fast), this is the wave that turns a starter force into a full-blown Mawtribe. Named characters like Morga anchor an army list, and dual-build kits mean nothing here is a one-trick purchase. No pricing announced yet — we'll have exact numbers when pre-orders open. |
|
Warhammer Age of Sigmar The Core of the Mawtribe |
The backbone units every Mawtribes army is built on, refreshed in multi-part plastic with more build options than ever.
Tyrant The classic on-foot warlord, now with two gut plates, three heads, two weapon sets, and two back banners to pick from. |
Butcher The Mawtribes' signature spellcaster, channeling the primal power of gut magic. Comes with hooded and bare-head options. |
Ironguts The elite. Heavily armored bruisers in packs of three, with extensive customization across the kit. |
Gluttons The rank and file, five to a box with plenty of weapon and head variations to keep every unit looking distinct. |
|
Warhammer Age of Sigmar Beasts, Hunters & Hired Guts |
The wave's wilder side—dual-build support kits, beast cavalry, and a mercenary Regiment of Renown that any Destruction army can hire.
Cleavers / Gutseers One kit, two units: build three Cleavers or three Gutseers — the latter specialize in distracting enemy spellcasters. |
Gutseers (alternate build) The same kit's other face — proof of how much mileage this wave gets out of every box. |
Maulbeast Raiders Two beast-riding ogors per kit, with customization options to match the rest of the range. |
Maulbeast Cavalry The Raiders' harder-hitting cousins—also two to a kit, ready to crash into a battleline at full gallop. |
|
Three Hunters and two prowling Sabrefangs per box—ranged pressure with head and companion options. |
Mantrapper A solo marksman hauling a chained bolt crossbow—a mean little solution for characters who think they're safe. |
![]() |
Regiment of Renown Okar's Torrbad A mercenary cavalry set packing a Huskard on Stonehorn and a Thundertusk Beastrider. As a Regiment of Renown it isn't just for Mawtribes players—any Destruction army can bring this avalanche along. |
|
Warhammer Age of Sigmar Battletome & Dice |
Warscrolls, battle traits, and spell lores for the whole faction — in standard hardback or a Gamer's Edition that bundles a softback with warscroll cards. |
Ogor Mawtribes Dice Sixteen frosted grey dice stamped with faction symbols—because a new army deserves matching math rocks. |
|
Can't wait for pre-orders? Start your Mawtribe today We have the Spearhead: Ogor Mawtribes Scrapglutt in stock right now (just one on the shelf)—a ready-to-play force that slots straight into the new range—plus the Ogor Mawtribes Faction Pack to get your rules reference sorted before the wave lands. |

Black Library New Reads: The Heresy Burns On |
The Horus Heresy Saga reissues keep rolling, joined by fresh fiction from the Mortal Realms. Browse everything bookish in our Black Library collection.
Galaxy in Flames — Premium Edition Ben Counter's chronicle of the Warmaster's rebellion igniting, dressed up in faux leather, gold foil, and a metal emblem. A standard hardback ships alongside it. |
Graham McNeill's second installment of the saga returns in paperback—the perfect on-ramp if you're starting the Heresy from the beginning. |
|
Noah Van Nguyen's sequel to The Godeater's Son—Heldanarr Fall returns, protecting children from encroaching Chaos in the Mortal Realms. |
Three novels, four short stories, and a novella of Mortal Realms witch-hunting in one chunky volume. Serious value per page. |
Our Take
This is the biggest single-faction refresh Age of Sigmar has seen in a while—an entire range landing at once, with dual-build kits (Morga/Tyrant on Glutthorn, Cleavers/Gutseers) stretching the value of nearly every box. If the Army Set's run here was any indication, the character kits and Iron Guts will be the first to disappear. Okar's Torrbad is the sleeper pick: any Destruction player can field it, so it won't just be Mawtribes collectors in line. And Heresy readers, that Premium Edition Galaxy in Flames is the kind of shelf piece that doesn't linger.
GW hasn't announced pricing or the exact pre-order date yet—just "next week." The moment our pre-orders go live, we'll update this post with direct links, and the email list hears first. Two more reveals are promised Monday, so this wave may not even be done growing.
