Tokaido Duo (STM277)
Tokaido Duo is a standalone game inspired by Tokaido, with completely new mechanics, set on the Japanese island of Shikoku.
Each turn you use a quick dice draft to steer three characters around the island. As the pilgrim, visit shrines, gardens, seashores and hot springs. As the merchant, collect and sell traditional souvenirs. As the artist, paint vistas and gift your paintings to locals. Score points through each character's discoveries as you race to finish one of their jobs.
The Stonemaier Games version adds character guides for each player and an Automa solo mode.
