Shopping for a Warhammer 40,000 fan? The easiest win is a box for the army they already collect, or the one they keep talking about starting. This guide lists the Warhammer 40K Combat Patrol and Battleforce boxes on our site right now, one army at a time, plus a few paint and hobby add-ons to round out the gift.
Combat Patrol or Battleforce: Which Box?
Both Combat Patrol and Battleforce boxes are built around a single army, and Battleforce boxes are the bigger, pricier option. Check each product page for the full list of what's inside.
Not sure which army they play? Peek at their shelf, ask a friend from their gaming group, or browse our Warhammer 40K page together.

Warhammer 40K Gift FAQ
Combat Patrol or Battleforce for a brand-new player?
A Combat Patrol is the smaller, lower-priced box, so it's usually the easier first step. A Battleforce is a great pick for someone who already plays that army.
What if I don't know their army?
Ask! Most Warhammer fans are happy to talk about their army. If you'd rather keep it a surprise, a paint set or the Combat Patrol Companion works for any army.
Do the models come built and painted?
Check each product page for the details. Most hobbyists build and paint their own models, and that's half the fun, which is why a paint set makes such a good add-on.
Where can they play?
We host weekly in-store events at our Englewood store, 35 S Van Brunt St, Englewood, NJ. Questions about a box? Email help@sagaconcepts.com.
