How to Choose Dice as a Gift
What's in a standard 7-piece set?
A d4, d6, d8, d10, a percentile d10, d12 and d20. That covers most tabletop role-playing games, including D&D.
What if they play wargames, not RPGs?
Go for a block of matching six-sided dice, like the Chessex Borealis d6 block, or a game-specific set such as the StarCraft dice. Miniature games usually roll lots of d6 at once.
I don't know their style. What's safest?
Mystery dice take the guesswork out, and a dice box or storage case is useful for any player. If you're local, stop by our Englewood store at 35 S Van Brunt St and see sets in person, or email help@sagaconcepts.com with questions.
