If you played Destiny Ignition this spring, you already know why the Ultimate Deck format works: it isn't a starter you outgrow in a week. It's a real deck, a pile of extra cards to rebuild it around a different pilot, and a Bonus Pack with a foil you'll actually want. Kira, Athrun and Shinn made a lot of new pilots in one box.

Ultimate Deck 02 [ST15] is the follow-up. Retailer listings put it at April 2027, and the early product notes say it pushes the idea further — enough extra cards to build the deck three different ways out of one box, new colored dice, and a Bonus Pack chase of thirty textured-foil cards.

What Bandai hasn't said yet: which series it draws from, who the pilots are, or what colors it runs. We'll tell you the moment they do. Here's everything we can stand behind today.

The template: what Ultimate Deck 01 put in the box

Destiny Ignition [ST09] (March 2026, $39.99) shipped a ready-to-play 50-card deck, 10 Resource cards, 22 extra cards, 2 tokens, 6 damage-counter dice, a playsheet, and 1 Bonus Pack — built around Kira, Athrun and Shinn from SEED Destiny.

Why that matters for 02: the Ultimate Deck line is Bandai's "buy once, play for months" product. If 02 keeps the 50 + extras + Bonus Pack structure and adds three-way rebuilds, it's the best value entry into the game we stock — and the one we'll hand to anyone who asks "where do I start?"
