Saga Help Tip
Big kits like this are centrepiece models. Planning the build in sections makes them much easier to paint.
Getting started
- Decide which build option you want before you start. Read through the instructions so you know which parts are alternatives.
- Build in large sub-assemblies (legs, body, armour panels, weapons) and spray-prime each one separately.
- Paint the panels and the frame separately, then glue them together. A spray undercoat saves a lot of time on big surfaces.
FAQ
Is glue included?
Glue isn't in the box contents list. Games Workshop recommends Warhammer Colour Plastic Glue.
Do the models come painted?
No. They are supplied unpainted and need assembly, so you will need glue, clippers and paints to finish them.
Should I magnetise the weapons?
It is optional. Some hobbyists add small magnets so they can swap weapon options later. It takes extra time and is not needed to build the kit.
