Dixit (ASM-DIX01)
Dixit is a party game from Libellud for 3–8 players, playing in 30 minutes, recommended for ages 8+.
How it plays
Dixit is a storytelling and guessing game played with big, dreamlike picture cards illustrated by Marie Cardouat.
Each round, one player is the storyteller. They pick a card from their hand and say something about it: a word, a phrase, a line from a song, anything. Everyone else secretly picks a card from their own hand that fits the clue. The cards are shuffled and revealed, and everyone votes on which one was the storyteller's.
Here's the twist: the storyteller scores only if some, but not all, players find their card. Too obvious or too mysterious and they score nothing, so the fun is in finding a clue that's just right. Points move your rabbit pawn along the scoring track.

Great for: Mixed groups of 3 to 8, from families with kids 8 and up to friends who'd rather be creative than competitive.
What a game night feels like: Gentle and surprising. Every reveal turns into "how did you get THAT from my clue?" and you learn a lot about how your friends think.

Teaching tip: Give the first clue yourself and make it a little vague on purpose. It shows everyone the "not too easy, not too hard" idea right away.
