Board Games Pokémon TCG New Releases Card Protection

Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons Ravenloft — standalone co-op, now on the shelf.
Three very different things landed at the shop this week, and we couldn't pick a favorite. So here are all of them.
One's a co-operative horror game where you and your friends try to survive Barovia. One's a Pokémon collection that's genuinely useful if you build decks—and that we're expecting on allocation. And one is a small, cheap, delightful thing to grab at the counter. Something for the table, something for the binder, something for the shelf.

Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons Ravenloft
Co-operative · Standalone · Board Games
If you've played a Horrified game before you know the shape of it: everyone's on the same side, the board keeps getting worse, and each monster is its own little puzzle you have to solve before the terror overwhelms you.
This one drops you into Barovia. The four monsters are the Carrionette, the Gulthias Tree, Baba Lysaga, and the Dark Lord of Barovia himself, Strahd von Zarovich. Each works differently, so the game you play against Strahd is not the game you play against the Gulthias Tree.
|
The hero phase One player moves around the board, guides villagers to safety, picks up valuable items, and chips away at the monsters. |
The monster phase Then the monsters wreak havoc — attacking heroes and villagers alike. Adapt or get overwhelmed. |
|
Five D&D classes Each player takes on a hero built around one of five iconic classes, with their own way of contributing. |
Fully co-operative You win together or you lose together. Great for a group that would rather solve a problem than backstab each other. |
Pokémon TCG: Deck Crafter's Collection (2026)
Pokémon TCG · Allocation only · Waitlist open

Combine them with your own collection and you've got a strategy ready for anything from a Friday match at our tables to a Championship Series stage.

Come play it before you buy it Horrified is exactly the sort of game that's better played with people around the table than read about on a page. If you're curious, come by—we're happy to walk you through how a round plays out. And if you're building Pokémon decks, our event calendar is where to put those staples to work. |
