Card Previews
First Look: Hela, The Darkhold & MoreWizards has unveiled the first preview cards from Darkhold Destiny, and they're exactly as dramatic as you'd expect from a set where Asgard and the underworld go to war. Hela, Mistress of Darkness — the Queen of Hel herself takes legendary creature form, almost certainly with graveyard recursion and sacrifice synergies baked in. The Darkhold — the cursed grimoire that gives the set its name. Expect a powerful artifact or enchantment with a steep cost and an even steeper payoff. Magik, Illyana Rasputin — the X-Men's teleporting sorceress gets a multicolour treatment, bridging mysticism and mutant power. Penance Stare — Ghost Rider's signature move, likely an instant or sorcery that punishes opponents for their sins (or at least their life totals). Gargantos, the Endbringer — a massive multicolour creature pulled straight from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Temple of Khonshu — a new land that ties Moon Knight's patron deity into the mana base. |
