The Z-MAN Love Letter Card Game is a variant of the popular card game Love Letter, published by Z-Man Games. Love Letter is a quick and light card game designed for 2 to 4 players. The game revolves around the theme of courtship and delivering love letters to the princess.
In the game, players take on the roles of suitors who are trying to get their love letters delivered to the princess. The deck consists of various numbered cards, each representing a different character in the game's narrative. Each character card has a special ability that affects the gameplay.
At the start of the game, one card is removed from the deck and set aside face-down. The remaining cards are shuffled and each player is dealt one card. On their turn, a player draws one card and then discards one, applying the effect of the discarded card.
The goal is to eliminate other players by knocking them out of the round or to have the highest-ranking card in hand at the end of the round.
The game continues until only one player remains or until the deck runs out of cards. The player who wins the round receives a token of affection. The game is played over several rounds, and the player with the most tokens of affection at the end of the game wins.
Z-Man Games released a version of Love Letter with a re-themed edition called "Z-MAN Love Letter Card Game." While the core mechanics and gameplay remain the same, the Z-MAN edition may have different artwork, card designs, or theme variations compared to the original Love Letter game
