Games Workshop
Games Workshop is a British manufacturer of miniature wargames like Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Middle Earth, and a number of other table top RPG games. Founded in 1975 and originally a manufacturer of wooden boards for games such as backgammon, mancala, and Go. It was the success of Dungeons & Dragons that propelled Games Workshop to start making miniatures and eventually their own games for those miniatures. The impact of Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer fantasy games has been massive and they continue to strive to be the best tabletop RPG gaming company in the world.
